When you start out to learn internet marketing, it can be a confusing time. Many people aren’t sure where to start or who to follow. Hopefully you are a member of a high quality forum where you can learn, ask, develop, and grow into your new business.
Newbies are confronted with a wide array of options including new ideas, methods, and tools. It can be confusing to know who to believe and what to try. “Polls” are a method that have stood the test of time. You may have heard of it. It consists of running simple YES/NO polls on the content network on Google, Yahoo, and MSN. “Polls” are a method that have stood the test of time. It has been around for years. Some say polls are a waste of time, outdated, or too much effort. I do not agree with this statement. I enjoy the process of creating poll questions and I start a new one each week.
There are programs available that make it so easy to create a poll on any WordPress blog. You simply search for a hot news topic, write a poll question, find an image related to the topic. Once visitors vote Yes or No on your poll, they are redirected to an email submit offer which can pay .75 to $2 per submission.
Polls are a good introduction to Pay Per Click internet marketing. You learn several key skills including market research, keyword research, targeting, poll and question creation, ad creation, tracking, PPC methods on the main search engines, and so much more.
However, if you are an experienced affiliate marketer, and you are comfortable launching high volumes of campaigns on the search engines, then you may not need the learning experience that polls provide. Perhaps increased income is the goal? Many affilate marketers with experience continue to run polls to increase their income.
Either way, it’s worth doing a little research into this method of internet marketing. It’s easy, effective, and can increase your income quickly.
