Optimizing Your WebSite With Organic Search Engine Techniques

 Powered by Max Banner Ads

Search engine strategies and Eventually, SEO is a secure and highly successful method of optimizing a web site for search engines, even though SEO organic methods require additional hard work from people. By doing this you too aid the virtual environment as Organic SEO contributes towards reducing the “contamination” of Internet!. In the following paragraphs, you’ll find a few easy ways to use this type of search engine optimization. You are obviously aware of the fundamental theories of search engine optimization but do you know about SEO organic methods?

Though search engine optimization is an extremely crucial feature of the promotional plan of any online trade, it has become more and more homogeneous and mechanical. A large number of SEO services and applications improve a web site’s search engine rankings merely by using the same basic plan. This has led to a lot of marketers using nasty search engine optimization methods to get results. Though contributing to traffic generation, sooner or later these types of techniques make the Internet an abysmal place. It is not a good idea to adopt these techniques which are also called as “Black Hat” SEO techniques. To top the fact that they irritate the possible clients of your website, they may possibly not even last in the long run…

As a matter of fact, Google and other search engines are always on the lookout for techniques that help defeat Black Hat SEO methods. If their endeavors are triumphant – and actually they will be, quite soon – you may have lost your time and money. Why spend money on search engine optimization that could be useless in just a few months?. It gets even worse, search engines are not merely bumping off these kinds of sites in terms of ranking; they are absolutely removing from the search results.

Few of these Black Hat techniques carry out various jobs by employing machines or low priced workers. An illustration would be when these services now and again sign up to lots of forums and/or social networking sites and just spam the link to any potential site. This is clearly frustrating for lots of webmasters who have to deal with sites messed up with worthless links.

Link farms are another common type of Black Hat SEO. These web sites are clones of online directories, thronged with links, most of which point to very pathetic web sites. Some of them only link into each other and the link site, inducing a dazed state by the immense amount of random information. A fantastic option to few of these Black Hat search engine optimization techniques can be SEO organic techniques. Domain names are the most important thing that people relate to when it comes to web sites. To royally initiate organic SEO, work towards the inclusion of your website’s targeted keywords in your domain name. Another, related, search engine optimization idea is to customize your web site’s title the same way: feature the keywords that your site targets. Both of these elements are factors that search engines use to rank a site.

There are many more ways to optimize a site with an SEO organic plan, but these tips will get you started.

Search Engine Optimisation

 Powered by Max Banner Ads

People do not change just because they are on the web. They are still the same people they were before the Internet became a popular phenomenon. Some are arrogant. Some are nice. Some are mean. Others are modest. The list of traits is the same for people everywhere.

The above paragraph is true, except for one breed that was specifically created post-Internet. The Search Engine or Webmaster Guru is the Internet抯 equivalent of Frankenstein's monster.

There are many ways to optimise your website and everyone has a different opinion on how to do it, but there’s one thing everyone agrees on is the two pronged approach, onpage and offpage.

Today I am going to talk about on-page optimisation, the biggest mistake many people make is that they have their website built wait around for a few month and wonder why there's no traffic heading there way.  The website should be built with optimisation in mind right from the start, it might look great having lots of Flash flying around your site (I personally don’t think so) but without your keywords spread throughout your text the web bots are not going to find it.

I think it’s important to have your title heading as an H1 and in bold, but only do it once on a page otherwise you could get penalised.  The web bots/spiders read pages from top left to bottom right so I would also reinforce your title again by putting it next to the copyright logo.

There is always a discussion about Head and Meta tags, I firmly believe you must do this and definitely the Title as this does carry  weight with Google.

The main ingredience for success in any business is hard work and this certainly applies to Search Engine Optimisation oh and throw in a whole lot of time for good measure!

SEO and Where To Focus Your Keywords

 Powered by Max Banner Ads

There are many out there who would try to tell you that on page SEO is complex and that search engine optimisation is a simple matter of using your target keywords correctly. Of course some of the fundamental principles of SEO are making sure your page is crawlable, ensuring you get the right type of site structure and creating the correct back links is another biggy, these for me are the tricky aspects.

Saying this, simply creating keyword focus on your page is simple and anyone can do it, there is no need to hire anyone to do this aspect of SEO for you unless you really don’t know where to start. In my opinion on page SEO is as simple as 3 steps, there are 3 different places you need to focusing your SEO efforts on.

The first is your title tag, this is the most important aspect of on page search engine optimisation and any good SEO service will tell you this. You need to use your target keyword in the title tag and it needs to be as prominent as possible, this means make it the first keyword and don’t stuff the tag.

The main body for me is the next strongest place since recently headings have been proven to create no real value fo rankings. Instead concentrate on using multiple variations of your keyword in the body text of your page, make it look natural but try and use the variations consistently.

An area that has recently been proven to increase Google rankings is the use of the ALT attribute in images, if you have a lot of images on your page make sure you use different variations as using the same keyword over and over again may result in a penalty.

No matter what SEO blog you decide to read, these really are the main areas of on page optimisation and making sure these areas are optimised will result in greater rankings and more traffic.

Backlinks authority and Google

 Powered by Max Banner Ads

how to get more backlinks

OK, this is a big concept and I want to emphasise it’s not an exact science. But here is what I have learned in my analysis at the Backlinks clinic:

Authority - basics

The more authority your site has the better you will rank on Google. Authority means that searchers trust you and your content. The great news is that authorities trusted by humans are also trusted by Google. A good illustration is the .edu and .gov suffixes. These domains imply they are trustworthy sources of content and it’s an established fact that in the eyes of Google backlinks from these domains to your web pages will “pass on” authority to your web pages. Another shining example is Wikipedia as the web pages here are almost always added by by tribes of people as opposed to a single marketer.

So it follows that authority is significantly influenced by the source of your backlinks and if authoritative sites link to you then you inherit their apparent trust and in the eyes of Google you become more authoritative and hence the trust in your content by Google increases.

How Google pronounces what is and isn’t authoritative is undisclosed for good reason and aligns with Google’s thinking of “Do no evil”. The last thing the Internet needs is an individual or a group manipulating the mechanisms that Google employs in its efforts to try and regulate probably the most significant technological asset of our times.

How not to get Authority and Backlinks

And on this thought it’s worth my while stating some distasteful sources and methods of building backlinks that Google not only disapproves of but appears to be acting to ‘classify’ as negative authorities. In no particular order of severity, the common examples are:

  • Paid backlinks – web sites where people buy and sell backlinks
  • Comment spam – entries that contain links on web sites that are just not associated to the main theme.
  • Low quality and *duplicate content – ‘scraped’ or copied
  • Unnatural growth – there are a large selection of ways that this is achievable, Google isn’t stupid. Any sudden rise in the amount of backlinks is going to register on Google’s monitoring systems, especially if it’s a brand new domain.
  • Backlinks from unscrupulous web pages – these are particularly destructive as you are guilty by association - need I say more.

*There is another factor where I may be on shakey ground, but reputable news portals appear to get a lot of authority and I have definitely discovered significant numbers of the same article over and over again on different portals with no penalties, I am still looking at this, only as a percentage of the results I am seeing go against the consistent behaviors I normally expect to see. More on this is in a future post….

Reducing Load Time via Image Optimisation

 Powered by Max Banner Ads

Even though more and more Internet users switch to broadband every year, a large portion of the web's population is still running on good old dialup connections. It is therefore unwise to count them out of the equation when you're designing your website, and a very major consideration we have to make for dialup users is the loading time of your website.

Generally, all the text on your website will be loaded in a very short time even on a dialup connection. The culprit of slow-loading sites is mainly large images on your website, and it is very important to strike a delicate balance between using just enough images to attract your users and not to bog down the overall loading time of your site.

You should also go to a greater length and optimize every image on your site to make sure it loads in the least time possible. What I really mean is to use image editing software to remove unnecessary information on your images, and thereby effectively reducing the file size of your image without affecting its appearance.

If you own Photoshop, it will be obvious to you that when you save an image as a JPEG file, a dialog box appears and lets you choose the “quality” of the JPEG image — normally a setting of 8 to 10 is good enough as it will preserve the quality of your image while saving it at a small file size. If you do not have Photoshop, there are many free image compressors online that you can download and use to reduce your image’s file size.

On the other hand, you can opt to save your images in PNG format to get the best quality at the least file size. You can also save your images in GIF format — the image editing software clips away all the color information not used in your image, hence giving you the smallest file size possible. However, saving in GIF format will often compromise the appearance of your image, so make your choice wisely!

Generating Online Revenue With Good Planning

 Powered by Max Banner Ads

For anything to work well, care must be taken to make firm, workable plans to execute it and the same goes for website designs. With a well thought out web designer, you will be able to create a site that generates multiple streams of revenue for you. In fact, may websites turn into online wasteland because they are not well planned and do not get a single visitor. Gradually, the webmaster will not be motivated to update it anymore and it turns into wasted cyberspace.

The crucial point of planning your site search engine optimisation is for revenue if you want to gain any income from the site. Divide your site into major blocks, ordered by themes, and start building new pages and subsections in those blocks. For example, you might have a "food" section, an "accomodation" section and an "entertainment" section for a tourism site. You can then write and publish relevant articles in the respective sections to attract a stream of traffic that comes looking for further information.

When you have a broader, better-defined scope of themes for your website, you can sell space on your pages to people interested in advertising on your page. You can also earn from programs like Google's Adsense and Yahoo! Search Engine Marketing if people surf to those themed pages and click on the ads. For this very reason, the advertisement blocks on your pages need to be relevant to the content, so a themed page fits that criteria perfectly.

As Internet becomes more widespread, advertising on the Internet will bear more results than on magazines or offline media. Hence, start tapping in on this lucrative stream of profit right away!

What Is Internet Marketing - Here Are Some Quick Descriptions

 Powered by Max Banner Ads

What is Internet marketing?

1. Depending on whom you ask, the term Internet marketing can mean a variety of things. At one time, Internet marketing consisted typically of having a website or placing banner ads on other websites. On the other end of the spectrum, there are loads of companies telling you that you can make a fortune overnight on the Internet and who try to sell you some form of “Internet marketing program“.

Today, Internet marketing, or online marketing, is evolving into a broader mix of components a company can use as a means of increasing sales - even if your business is done completely online, partly online, or completely offline. The decision to use Internet marketing as part of a company’s overall marketing strategy is strictly up to the company of course, but as a rule, Internet marketing is becoming an increasingly important part of nearly every company’s marketing mix. For some online businesses, it is the only form of marketing being practiced.

2. Internet marketing is relatively inexpensive when compared to the ratio of cost against the reach of the target audience. Internet marketing is a great way to bring more profit to your business. Internet marketing is a lucrative way to deliver quality buyers for your services at little cost compared to most types of marketing services.

Search engines are important to your Internet marketing strategy because according to a recent study, some 85% of all Web site traffic originates from either a search engine or directory. Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is one of the most effective tactics used in e-Marketing today.

3. Internet marketing is the business of both advertising and selling goods and services over the Internet. This form of business is ever-increasing in popularity, with millions of people now making purchases on the Internet. Internet marketing began in the early 1990s as primarily a means of product description, consisting merely of text descriptions. As technology progressed, Internet marketing rapidly advanced to include pictures and other rich graphics as part of advertisements for products and services. After realizing the remarkable potential of this means of marketing, Internet-based companies started opening their virtual doors for business. As opposite to what are now known as “brick and mortar” operations, these e-businesses offer their products and services to a mounting number of consumers, conducting all, or almost all, of their business in the virtual world of the Internet.

There are many forms of marketing on the Internet. For more details go to www.split-test-profits.com Among them are article marketing, blog marketing, e-mail marketing, search engine marketing (to include search engine optimization), banner ads, pay-per-click ads, and pop-up ads. It is important to note that each of these forms catches the attention of the target market in different ways, and some may be more effective than others depending on the product or service, the target market, and the strategy and goal of the business marketing itself. Among the business functions that may require use of different means in their strategies are customer service, sales, public relations, information management, and others.

4. Internet marketing is still a complete mystery to a large majority of Internet users. For many users, Internet marketing is seen as some foreign area of the web, populated with silly get-rich-quick schemes and unsavory characters ready to rip off the innocent and uninformed consumer at the click of a mouse.

Worldwide there are now over a billion Internet users, representing one large global consumer base or marketplace. The total amount of goods sold online has been steadily increasing each year as the Internet gains in both popularity and familiarity. Studies have shown people shop online because of lower prices, a wider selection of products, easier comparison shopping, and many just prefer not having to travel to stores to make a purchase.

5. Think of your website as a local shop that is situated down a dead end street. To succeed your customers need to know where you are and what you are about.

First of all this means having good road signs and there being a road layout that makes the street easy to get to. In the online world the road signs and layout are the website software and optimised content and they are just as important if you want online customers to find you.

6. Internet marketing is the research of the target audience, studying the market situation and predicting changes for the online market, plus the package of actions aimed at bringing potential customers to the website by improving the web site’s visibility in search engines and placing all sorts of ads throughout the Net. An integral part of the Internet marketing is the web site’s visits statistics.

Any of your actions toward increasing sales are to be evaluated in terms of their efficiency. The quality analysis of the Internet statistics will help you understand your prospective customers’ demands and interests, evaluate the attraction and retention methods that are good for the customers and reveal what makes them to not get interested in your products or services.
