SEO and Where To Focus Your Keywords
Powered by Max Banner Ads
There are many out there who would try to tell you that on page SEO is complex and that search engine optimisation is a simple matter of using your target keywords correctly. Of course some of the fundamental principles of SEO are making sure your page is crawlable, ensuring you get the right type of site structure and creating the correct back links is another biggy, these for me are the tricky aspects.
Saying this, simply creating keyword focus on your page is simple and anyone can do it, there is no need to hire anyone to do this aspect of SEO for you unless you really don’t know where to start. In my opinion on page SEO is as simple as 3 steps, there are 3 different places you need to focusing your SEO efforts on.
The first is your title tag, this is the most important aspect of on page search engine optimisation and any good SEO service will tell you this. You need to use your target keyword in the title tag and it needs to be as prominent as possible, this means make it the first keyword and don’t stuff the tag.
The main body for me is the next strongest place since recently headings have been proven to create no real value fo rankings. Instead concentrate on using multiple variations of your keyword in the body text of your page, make it look natural but try and use the variations consistently.
An area that has recently been proven to increase Google rankings is the use of the ALT attribute in images, if you have a lot of images on your page make sure you use different variations as using the same keyword over and over again may result in a penalty.
No matter what SEO blog you decide to read, these really are the main areas of on page optimisation and making sure these areas are optimised will result in greater rankings and more traffic.
