Whereas Corey Rudl introduced me to internet marketing, Brad Callen actually got me to take action and publish my first marketing web site.  His software actuall got me making cash on the internet!  How many products have you bought that you could say that about?

So how did he do it?

Well, using Frontpage, I’d designed a very simple web site for my brother’s business. Having published it I wanted to get it ranking well for him, and because of the reading I’d been doing on internet marketing and seo, I knew that I needed to get a bunch of inbound links pointing in to the site. That’s when I first came across the name of Brad Callen, I stumbled across his SEO Elite website when researching inbound links.

I bought and used SEO Elite and it helped me pull in some links for my brother, and after a few weeks his site was ranking well in Google. I also subscribed to Brad’s SEO course which was excellent (being a newbie it taught me a lot at the time) and it helped me to optimise the site’s pages better as well. But his course also introduced me to Keyword Elite. Whilst SEO Elite was great, Keyword Elite was to turn out to be awesome!

Here was my problem …

I’d read all of Cory’s course on Internet Marketing and was desperate to have a go … but I was being held back … I was telling myself that I had no skills or interests of any value! I simply didn’t know what niche I could choose and be successful in as I had no real “expertise” … so I just kept researching rather than doing!

I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one who’s ever been in that scenario … not knowing where to start ?

A couple of years passed from buying Cory’s report to me actually publishing a marketing site … during that time I read lots of ebooks and courses and kept racking my brains to find a “unique” idea or product that I could market … surprisingly I never found one!

So what changed? Quite simply, as a result of Brad’s email course and marketing, I decided to buy Keyword Elite with the intention of having a go at affiliate marketing using adwords campaigns … SEO Elite had proved to be a good purchase so I was pretty much convinced that Keyword Elite would be to …

What a great buy it turned out to be … it’s still software that I use all the time to this day …

Why did it make such a difference to me?

Literally overnight (well within a couple of days), I went from not having a niche to get started in, to not knowing which one of a dozen to choose first!

Keyword Elite very quickly revealed niche after niche that were likely to be profitable … getting started was no longer a problem!

Brad’s software shows you how much advertisers are paying for the top spots for each keyword phrase it returns … I was staggered by some of the bids … $40 per click!! It follows that if advertisers are prepared to pay that amount of money per click to advertise, there must be a lot of money to be made in that niche! Within a couple of days I registered half a dozen domain names and bought a copy of XSitePro which I’d been considering for a while, but had put off as I hadn’t identified a niche to publish in!

I knew that if advertisers were paying a lot for adwords clicks, and I mean dollars per click rather than cents, it would mean that Adsense ads would pay well in those niches.

So I started creating content and pages geared around Adsense and affiliate products in those niches. I used the SEO techniques I’d learnt from Brad’s courses to optimise the pages, and SEO Elite to pull in some links … and I focused my content on the “low competition” keyword phrases identified by Keyword Elite to attract free traffic …

How did I write content in niches where I had no expertise? I simply read a lot of articles at places like EzineArticles.com and rewrote them based around the keyword phrases identified with KE! No expertise required, just the ability to read and type!

In summary, I used Keyword Elite to identify potentially profitable niches and to identify keyword phrases within those niches to attract free traffic. A couple of months later, I twigged that I could also use the lower cost keyword phrases to drive traffic to my adsense pages using adwords and make a profit … known as Google Arbitrage (less easy to do now) …

Brad Callen’s Keyword Elite therefore has been a huge influence on my online marketing efforts … he got me doing the most important thing … “publishing pages”.

Keyword Elite is more than a keyword research tool, it’s a niche research tool that should be at the centre of anyone’s online marketing strategy … it’s the first tool I recommend to anyone!  I can’t wait for Keyword Elite 2 to come along, it’s due for release any time now!!
