These things can consist of – and should include – providing information that helps your visitors solve their problems.Any type of helpful information should be provided free-of-charge.  What can happen, then, is that as your visitors come to think of you as helpful and trust you as a result of the help that you and your website provides, they will become more open to listening to your suggestions for other affiliate products that you recommend to them.
The first step is to find out not only what your visitors want, but to find out what they need.  Contrary to what most people think, most people do not look for products or services on the Internet. They look for solutions to problems or at least the information that can lead them to the solutions to their problems.  Get into the following mindset as you are creating content for your next website article or blog post.  Instead of writing a blog post selling time management software, come up with solutions to how your visitors can more effectively manage their time and create an article chock-full of free information about how they can do this.Rather than asking someone to buy an ebook that explains how to make their computer run faster, tell them how to solve their slow computer problems free of charge.

Give your website visitors what they want before you ask for anything in return. Gain their trust, establish relationships and then casually recommend items that may even help them further.But do everything you can to help your visitors first before ever asking them to buy a product or service from your site.
After you’ve provided valuable information that your audience finds helpful, you have taken the first step of establishing a relation of trust between yourself and your visitors.  Continue to cultivate that trust by only recommending products you use and find worthwhile and you will see results in the form of affiliate commissions. Once an internet marketer understands how to presell effectively, they will become much more successful.Preselling involves hard work, but it is really the cornerstone of any successful affiliate or internet marketing business.
